Sico de Andrés

An SEO specialist since 2002, Sico de Andrés has worked with major national and international accounts and is one of the most recognised voices in the industry in Spain: a regular speaker at leading digital marketing events, a lecturer on several master's programmes, and author of two reference books on search positioning and link building published by StarBook and Anaya.

He's the founder and CEO of Affinity PRO (formerly Link Affinity), the digital PR and ethical link building tool that uses artificial intelligence to connect brands with relevant media, recognised in 2022 with the Global Digital PR Award for best digital PR tool. He's also the creator of Expertomy, the platform that connects journalists and media with expert sources, and the founder of SEonthebeach, the digital marketing conference held by the sea.

  Technical director at Grupo Quicknet SL, with clients including iberia.com, expansion.com and marca.com.

• 2002

  Founds Zonetwork, a search positioning consultancy, and begins his career as an SEO specialist.

• 2009

  Publishes "Quiero que mi empresa salga en Google" (StarBook), with over 10,000 copies sold in Spain and Latin America.

• 2011

  Founds Optimizalia, a digital marketing and SEO agency for major national and international accounts.

• 2013

  Begins teaching at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and UNED (Ntic Master), as well as at Kskool, Webpositer, Enae and IEBS.

• 2020

  Launches Link Affinity and creates Expertomy, an AI-powered tool that connects journalists and media with experts across more than 1,000 topics.

• 2022

  Publishes his second book, "Posicionamiento y reputación online a través de link building ético" (Anaya), and Link Affinity wins the Global Digital PR Award for best digital PR tool, after being a finalist at the European Search Awards and the Global Search Awards.

  Leads Affinity PRO, keeps organising SEonthebeach, and trains new generations of SEO professionals.

Born in Cartagena in 1972, Sico balances SEO with his other great passion: surfing. He lives in a small village in Galicia, where he swears many of his best strategies come to him in the water at dawn. He also plays the drums and firmly believes that work-life balance is what sustains a long career in an industry that's constantly changing.
